Here I listed some method to backup email from your SurgeWebmail

1. Forward email to another account.
  • From your SurgeWebmail, click Inbox and select (by Tick in the box) important email that you want to backup.
  • Click Forward button.

  • New tab will appeared beside the Inbox tab with title "Fwd: Acc......". Enter other email address (eg: gmail, hotmail, ymail or etc) and click either Send or Send >> Done button.

  • Login to other account (for example: gmail) and find the forward message from SurgeWebmail in Inbox or Spam. Click the message and scroll down to look the content.

Advantages.

  • Email will be send to your other email. You can read the email as long there are internet line.
  • The content of file can be view exactly the same with original email.
  • Attachment can be downloaded if you send one per one email.
Disadvantages.
  • To view exactly content, you need to send the email one by one.
  • If you send multiple email, the system will automatically convert the email to format .eml. This format file can be view in Microsoft Outlook or related software.
  • In .eml format file, you only can read the content of the email and cannot download the attachment directly.

Note:
For email that have attachment, please use "Forward Attach (G)". Because the email is in .eml format, you  need to open it with Microsoft Outlook to view whole email content.
For staff that already use Microsoft Outlook 2007 above, the email in SurgeWebmail already store in your Computer/Notebook. However, the email will be lost if the hardisk corrupted or installing new operating system without backup the outlook file.
